Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon is the most famous natural attraction in the United
States and possibly in the world. The first sight of the canyon
will never fail to impress visitors. At any viewpoint along the
South Rim you can get a true appreciation of the canyon's enormous
size. There are many overlooks and hiking trails, but a hike down
into the depth of the canyon is the greatest adventure. The North
Rim of the canyon is much more remote and not accessible in the
winter months because of the snow. The views are just as magnificent
from either side of the canyon.
Lake Powell
The Glen Canyon National Recreation Area stretches from Lees Ferry
in Arizona to the Orange Cliffs of southern Utah. A variety of tours
are available to help you experience the Lake Powell area to the
fullest. You will find a variety of boat tours, rafting adventures,
and opportunity to join a fishing tournament.
Arizona SnowBowl
In the San Francisco Peaks north of Flagstaff is Snowbowl, a popular
winter destination that affords visitors the opportunity to enjoy
snow skiing and snow boarding. When there is no snow on the ground,
there are plenty of hiking and biking trails. Visit Snowbowl for
a breath of fresh mountain air.
